If a decoder is required then the NTB cannot play it directly.
|
Unlisted formats have not been tested.
Requirements
-
TV antenna connected to the TV socket on the NTB.
-
TV tuner card in the NTB tuned to digital transmitter.
-
Analogue TV station name and number pairs.
How To Modify the Analogue TV Station List
Presumably you want to modify the Analogue TV Station list
because you are in a country that has not yet been added to
the TV systems list.
-
FTP to the NTB and download the file:
system/config/tv_channels/uk.tv_info
-
Rename the file to "xx.tv_info" where "xx" is your country
code (e.g. "ie" for Ireland)
-
Open the file in Notepad or another text editor
(not a word processor)
-
Change "United Kingdom" to the name of your country/region
-
Change "PAL" to "NTSC" or "SECAM" if appropriate
-
Save the file
-
Upload the file to: config/tv_channels.
NOT THE SAME FOLDER WHERE YOU FOUND THE ORIGINAL FILE.
You may need to create the folder if it does not exist.
-
Download the file:
system/config/tv_channels/uk.analogue_channels from the NTB
-
Rename the file to "xx.analogue_channels" where "xx" is
exactly the same as used above
-
Open the file in a text editor
-
The file shows a list of channel numbers followed by
frequencies
e.g. "CH07|359250" => Channel 7 at 359.250 MHz
-
Add or delete channel numbers by inserting or deleting lines
in the file
-
Put a leading zero into channel numbers less than 10
(e.g. CH09, not CH9)
-
Enter the vision carrier frequency of the channel in kHz
-
Save the file
-
Upload the file to: config/tv_channels
-
Go to the Player Settings page and change the "TV System" to
that of your own country/region.
-
Test the new channels to make sure that the frequencies are
correct (We can't do that for you in the UK!)
-
When you are satisfied that the frequencies are correct,
you can put the two files above onto your other Net-Top-Boxes
and set them to your TV system.
-
E-mail the two files to your NTB support contact so that we
can include them as standard in all new NTBs.
This will save you from having to put them on yourself in the
future.
