A Schedule is the programme of one or more screen Layouts that will appear at different times of the day or days of the week.
There is always a default Layout but other Layouts can be scheduled to override the default at pre-defined times.
If more than one Layout is Scheduled for the same time then the one with the most recent start time will be shown.
It is, however, possible to force a particular Layout to override the entire Schedule.
For example: you can force a special TV event layout to override all other scheduled layouts
so that the dinner menu layout does not interrupt an important TV news item.
A Layout is made up from one or more rectangular Zones.
Every Zone has a Playlist
A Playlist has one or more media items (Content).
Content can be video, audio, images or text files stored on the NTB or other video, adudio and web content sourced over the Internet or airwaves.
